He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. Brummet and Lillian L. Brummet (Adams); and his sister Cheri (Michael Peck). He is survived by: his former wife Debra Kamm; his wife Debbie Brummet; his children, Michael Brummet (Mary Harris) of Cuba and Michele Brummet-Davis of Cuba; his grandchildren, Jordan Gilliam (James), Maddison Brummet, Remi Brummet, Garrett, Taylor Davis, Sydney Maisch and Ellie Kinnaird; his great grandchild Josephine Gilliam; his siblings, Cindy West (Laury) of Sullivan and Jeff Brummet (Jane) of St. James; and his sister-in-law Vickie Beach (Gary) of St. Peters. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.
