She was predeceased by: her parents, John L. Turnbough and Dorothy Turnbough (Barr); her husband Ben Leroy Chew; her son Ben L. Chew; her grandson James Randall Evans; her son-in-law Jamie Farmer; her siblings, Barbara (Junior Logan), Robert Turnbough and William Turnbough; and her brother-in-law Paul Plyer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debra "Debbie" (Jerry Furman) of Ash Grove, Donna (Robin McDaniel) of Pensacola, Tammy (William Portner) of Sullivan, Tresa (Jim McCaskill) of Cuba and Margie Farmer of Springdale, Arkansas; her siblings, Alvina Housewright of Steelville, Bonnie Mercer of Springdale, Wanda (James Heads), Catherine Mercer of Greenforest, Sue Plyer of Springdale, Arkansas and Gary (Cathy Turnbough) of Bentonville, Arkansas; and her sisters-in-law, Betty Turnbough and Mae Turnbough of Springdale, Arkansas. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren.
