He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward T. Carman and Amy A. Carman (Dehm); and his son-in-law Grant Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Stella Switzer; his children, Dan Carman (Judy) of Bolivar, Gwen Grogan (Jim) of Fulton, MO, Jim Carman (Donna) of Houston, TX and Sandy Edwards of Fulton, MO; and his grandchildren, Danella Jemes (John) of Grovespring, MO, Gina Smith (Kevin) of Fair Play, Sharla Wilkerson (Chris) of Lamar, Kim Brownfield (Nathan) of Buffalo, Kim Buckingham (Randy) of Branson, Leigh Kleinert (Billy) of Maryland, Jon Grogan of Los Angeles, CA, Carmen Corey (Travas) of Fulton, MO, Kyle Carman of Houston, TX and Erin Buttrey (Zach) of Bryan, TX. He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Del requested that memorial contributions be made to Lutheran Church Missouri Synod Disaster Response.
