He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert William Keyte and Vivian Nell Keyte (Mather); and his brothers, Robert Keyte, Carey Keyte and Gary Keyte.

He is survived by: his wife Debbie Lea Stewart; his children, Mike Stewart, Tony Keyte (Kerri) and Tracy Keyte; his grandchildren, Vivian Grace Keyte, Benjamin Robert Keyte and Matthew Hunter Keyte; his siblings, Barry Keyte (Ethel), Rita Stevson (Rich), Roseland and Becky Kaiser (David); and his pets, Sadie Marie and Molly Mae. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
