He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ransom and Dora Smith Hills; his daughters, Patricia Ann Hills and Marsha Hills; his granddaughter Deidre Henry; his siblings, Marge Wiggins and Gene Hills; and his nephew James Hills.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanie Moore DeLozier; his brother Monroe Hills; his children, Michelle Crawford, Debbie Dody and Tony DeLozier; his grandchildren, Stephanie Bouse (Daniel), Nathaniel Dody (Tonya), Jeffery Cannon, Megan Henry, Aaron DeLozier, Dakota DeLozier (Janiece), Robbie Holt, Taryn Holt and Isaiah Hills; and his great grandchildren, Taylor, Ray, Hayden, Kendrick, Aliya, Gabriel and Wyatt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and great friends.
