It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Basil Lewis of Clinton, Missouri, born in Smithville, Missouri, who passed away on March 12, 2023, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Basil F. Lewis, Sr. and Geraldine V. Lewis (Hadley); his wife Andrea Lewis; his children, Michael Helmuth-Lewis (Michele), Ashli Hayes (Nick) and Basil Lewis III (Eimile); his sisters, Nancy Thompson (Jim), Trish Maupin (John) and Pam Rider (Raymond); and his grandchildren, Max, Lilly and Rex. He was also cherished by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
