She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Roy Jones and Frankie Fern Jones (Midgyett); her husband William Jewell Grimes; her son Steven Jewell Grimes; her son-in-law Charles McFadden; and her siblings, Elton Leroy Jones, Ben Wood Jones and Cleo Willard.
She is survived by: her daughters, Beverly McFadden Toups of Fulton and Barbara Johnson (Larry) of St. Joseph, Missouri; her grandchildren, Brian Thomas, Jared Thomas, Melanie O'Callaghan and Kali Schaeffer; and her sister-in-law Phyllis Penniston of Chillicothe, Missouri.. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
