She is survived by: her children, Diane Truitt (Anthony) and David Shingle; her grandchildren, Adam Truitt (Loren), Aaron Truitt, Marjorie Truitt Sedillo (Brian) and Matthew Shingle; her great grandchildren, Heron Truitt, Arbor Truitt, Sonnet Truitt and Sutton Sedillo; and her siblings, James Higgins, Elizabeth Hamer and Magdalene Rose. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
