He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Tousky Baker; and his brothers, Herbert, Cecil, Delmar, John, Bill and James.

He is survived by: his children, Charles A. Baker (Sheila) of Sikeston, Gary Worthy (Debbie) of Charleston and Rand Worthy (Mary Jo) of Marston; his sister Martha Jane Jackson (Travis) of Texas; and his grandchildren, Ben Baker (Jessica), Bryan Baker (Liz), Gary Worthy, Jr. (Jana), Alisha Brown (Paul), Joseph McCalister and Shannon McCalister. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
