He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jimmy Schrum, Tommy Schrum, Ronnie Schrum and Janice Kay Schrum. He is survived by: his parents, Roy Steger and Stella Irene Sadler Steger; his wife Debbie Schrum; his children, David Aitken of Granite City, Vicky Jo Schrum (Jr Salinas) of Chaffee, Yuma Owens of Chaffee and Curtlynn Owens of Chaffee; his siblings, Bobby Schrum (Anita) of Chaffee, Barbara Kirn (Rodney) of Jackson, Tina Swinford (John) of Chaffee, Tammy Schrum (Rick Hardin) of Piedmont and Shawn Pope St (Gary); his grandchildren, Daniel Shaver, Aiden and Brianna Salinas; his niece Nicole Schrum (Time Clark) of Chaffee; and also, Ollie Earl Schrum, Danny Shaver (Kelly) of Yuma and Christopher Owens of Chaffee. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to WarChild Riding group to help in aiding in the mission to raise money for St. Jude's Children Hospital and local Veterans.
