She was predeceased by: her parents, Harman Ferguson and Mildred Vestine Ferguson (Dundas); her husband Clyde Homer Helphrey; and her brothers, Harold Ferguson (Shirley) and Gene Ferguson (Janet).
She is survived by: her children, John E. Helphrey (Linda), Lynn H. Helphrey (Ruby), Melodie A. Benton (Randy) and Carman J. Rowan; and her siblings-in-law, Marjorie Hunton and Clyde Leslie Helphrey. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren.
