He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Elmer and Jewell Forsythe (Carman); his brother Claude E. "Bud" Forsythe; and his brother-in-law Louis M. Whitaker. He is survived by: his sister Bonnie Faye Whitaker-Earle (David) of Mexico; his sister-in-law Mary Lou Forsythe of Lineville, IA; his nieces and nephews, Faye Ann Garcia (Marino) of Cincinnati, Gayla Ray Kolb (Mike) of Lebanon, Sarah Forsythe McKee (Phil) of Mobile, AL, Jared Ray Forsythe of Tennessee, Louis Wayne Whitaker (Sue) of Mexico and Breckin Whitaker of Mexico; his aunt Mary Young of Santa Fe; and his uncle LeRoy Young of Santa Fe. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
