He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Lula B. Rathburn; his granddaughter Allysa Dunnegan; and his siblings, Everett Theodore Rathburn, Ellen Marie "Sis" Flynn, William Ashley "Buz" Rathburn and John Leroy "Roy" Rathburn.
He is survived by: his wife Elmary Yvonne Rathburn; his daughter Angela Dunnegan (Douglas) of Cedar Hill; and his grandson Cody James Dunnegan. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
