He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Cockrell and Myrtle "Anderson" Overby; and his brother John Cockrell. He is survived by: his sisters, Sally McGuire (Ralph) of Webb City and Sherry Stokes (Kenny) of Olathe, Kansas; his niece Michelle Lewis (Kevin); and his nephew Marc McGuire (Debbie).
