She is survived by: her husband John Witherspoon August; her children, Jana Kaye Witherspoon of Portland, TX, Jami Lynn Shetler of Westminster, CO, Julie Christine Tippel of Claremore, OK, Joy Elizabeth Witherspoon of Johnstown, CO and John Mark Witherspoon of Webb City, MO; and her sister Cynthia Brown of Flower Mound, TX.. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren.
