He is survived by: his wife Alta Jane Stark; his daughters, Patty Witt (Richard) of Carthage, Missouri, Mary Pugh of Carthage, Missouri and Beth Whitehead (Allen) of Carthage, Missouri; his siblings, Barbara Taylor, Peggy Mullins (Joe), Phyllis Thorton (George), Carol Schriber and Junior Barker (Beverly); his grandchildren, Aaron Johnson, Jamie Witt (Amanda), Sarah Hunter (Harvell), Allison Morgan (Everett), Chad Pugh, Blake Pugh, Zach Whitehead and Matt Whitehead (Stephanie); his great grandchildren, Cameron Stripling (Nathan), Caitlin Witt, DJ Witt, Darrin Witt, EJ Morgan, Tyesha Morgan, Jaydon Morgan, Langston Morgan, Corben Pugh, Paige Pugh, Chris Pugh, Skylar Pugh, Alexia Pugh, Hannah Whitehead, Michael Whitehead, Clayton Whitehead, Lauren Whitehead, Kinley Whitehead, Blakely Johnson, Chance Johnson (Suzanne) and Josie Johnson; and his great great grandchildren, Peyton Tift, Marci Stripling, Raiden Johnson and Olivia Johnson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
