He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Thorn; his children, Cindy Smallwood (Kim) and David Thorn (Rhonda); his foster son Khanh Nguyen; his grandchildren, Zachary Thorn (Amy), Joshua Thorn (Patricia), Micah Smallwood (Caden), Casey Smallwood and Madeline Burris (Andrew); his great grandchildren, Madelynn, Jacqueline, Cooper, Isabella, Zayne, Averi and Ellie; and his siblings, Lillie Tatum, Velma Mitchell, Sue Carr (Charles), Bernice Lynch (John) and Elmer Thorn (Mary). He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
