She was predeceased by: her spouse Donavan Whitman; and her granddaughter Emma Williams. She is survived by: her stepfather Ralph Bailey of Ocala, FL; her children, Whit Whitman of Cornelius, NC and Michelle Erwin (Mike) of Topeka, KS; her sister Trudy Crowe (Bill) of Loma Linda, MO; her grandchildren, Levi Prewitt (Katie), Jordan Messbarger, Noah Messbarger and Delaney Williams; her great grandchildren, Addy and Zoey Prewitt; her nephew Kanton Zaerr (Hydee); her niece Kandida Laarman; and her great-nephews, Kinnon, Kolter, Kane, Karlan and Kyerson.
