He was predeceased by: his parents, Buel Austin and Ethel Austin. He is survived by: his wife Janet Austin of Carl Junction; his daughters, Rachel Wilson of Carl Junction, Michele (Fred Francis) of Arma, KS and Carey (Chad Hawkins) of Neosho; his grandchildren, Zack, Lane, Hannah, Maggie, Cole, Kendall, Kenton and Jacobson; and his son Darrin.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
