It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Payne in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who passed away on January 10, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Columbus Kindred and Parthenia Tudor Kindred; her daughter Sandra K. Payne; her grandson Jonathan McKimmey; and her brothers, Leon Kindred and Jack Kindred.
She is survived by: her sons, Joseph Carl Payne (Janice), D. Mark Payne (Tammy), Richard L. Payne (Tamilla House), Greg P. Payne (Janet) and Robert D. Payne; and her grandchildren, Meeshia McKimmey Halverson (Greg), Shannon McKimmey Crawley, Joseph Payne, Brian Goode (Teresa), Sydney Payne, Shelby Payne, Allison Payne Balsman (Brent), Bailey Payne, Emily Payne, Logan Payne, Kylie Payne and Karleigh Payne Teston (Franko). She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
