Robert E. Ayers Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert E. Ayers (Canton, Missouri), born in Keokuk, Iowa, who passed away on April 28, 2019 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harris and Blanche Verlee Leeper Ayers; and his siblings, Jim Ayers and Twila Boulware. He is survived by: his wife Emma Ruth Smith; his children, Debbie Carr (Kevin) of Nutley, N. J., Donna Ayers of Raytown, MO, Steve Ayers (Cindy) of Canton, Paul Ayers (Blanca) of Conway, AR and Diana Ayers of Bath, N. Y.; his grandchildren, Brad Ayers (Jessica), Wes Ayers (Emily), Jordan Ayers (Kristin), Drew Ayers, Lucas Ayers (Olivia), Jannell Ayers, Logan Ayers and Landon Ayers; and his stepgrandchildren, Rudy, Max and Sebastian De Anda. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to Immanuel United Methodist Church or to River Valley Community Course.
