She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Barkley and Mary Howell Barkley; her husband Bryon Whiston; her brother Kenneth Barkley; and her grandson Benjamin Whiston.

She is survived by: her children, Mary Haley (Charles), Jeanette Headrick (Jon), Louise Thompson (Charles), Mike Whiston (Debby) and Mark Whiston (Deanne); and her grandchildren, Christina Martin (Ron), Bryon Haley, Matt Haley (Jennifer), Karl Haley (Sara), Chase Thompson (Becky), Nick Whiston, Jenna Whiston, Ryan Whiston (Briana), Jason Whiston (Linda), Jeff Whiston (Cindy) and Greg Whiston (Lauren). She is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Lewis County Nursing Home or St. Joseph's Catholic Church in care of Davis Funeral Home, P.O. Box 108, Canton, MO 63435.
