He was predeceased by: his sisters, Genevieve Wood and Clara Ruth Golay; his son-in-law Steve Kriegel; and also Jean Wood. He is survived by: his children, John T. Wood (Nanette) of Monticello and Susan Kriegel of Grinnell. He is also survived by six grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, one niece and three nephews.
