He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Charles and Beulah Mae Jacobs Sherwood; and his siblings, Theresa Harris, Pat Parrick, Edith Riherd, Edna Dickens, Katherine Sherwood, Larry, Charles and Bobby.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Mae Stinson; his children, Shon Sherwood (Shannon) of Oskaloosa, Chanel Kauffman (Ron) of Beacon, Shannon Sherwood (Jennifer) of Rosehill and Travis Sherwood (Karie) of Ottumwa; his grandchildren, Chastity, Shocinda, Shon Michael, Hunter, Destiny, Avery, Kailey, Kendel, Kelsie, Victoria and Isabella; and his sister Mildred Olson of Kahoka. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
