We are sad to announce that on August 28, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Carolyn Gaus of Canton, Missouri, born in Quincy, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandmother Nancy Gaus; and her great-grandparents, Lee, Betty Ott and Robert Gaus. She is survived by: her parents, Christopher Gaus (Lindsay) of Hamilton and Kristy Wear (Mike Edwards) of Canton; her brothers, James Silman of Quincy and Caleb Gaus of Hamilton; her grandparents, Jenice Ott of Keokuk, Elmer Ott of Canton, Debra Sparks of Callao and Phillip Gaus of Kahoka; her stepgrandfather Jim Thompson (Mary) of Hamilton; her great-grandparents, John Reimers (Mary) of Branson, Juanita Shelton (Jim) of Quincy, Patrick Whitley (Patsy) of Polo, Wiley Sparks (Tracy) of Emmerson and Judith Wollbrink (Meb) of Quincy; and her uncle Joe Reimers. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Memorials may be made to the family to assist with expenses.
