He was predeceased by: his fathers, Henry Hermann Tiemann and Forest McCullough Tiemann; his wife Nancy Jean Rich; and his brother Melvin Lee Tiemann. He is survived by: his sons, Bruce Tiemann (Lynn) of Marion, IA and Doug Tiemann (Connie); his grandchildren, Ben Tiemann (Fabienne) of Cedar Rapids, IA, Andrew Tiemann of Ankeny, IA and Rachel Davis (Ryan) of Columbia, MO; his great grandchildren, Caitlin, Sophia, Liam, Finn Tiemann, Alyssa, Nevaeh and Henry Davis; his brothers, Robert Tiemann (Sharon) of Philadelphia, MO and Roger Tiemann (Nancy) of La Grange; and his close friend Alice Solter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
