He is survived by: his mother Patricia Shepherd (Robinson); his wife Nancy Kay Wilson; his children, Machelle Hunter (Billy) of Altamont, MO, Michael Reid (Jamie), Nicholas Shepherd of Independence, MO, Nichole Sugden (Brian), Brendan Shepherd (Kendra) and Brittany Phillips (Chris); his grandchildren, Tanner, Bryson, Maddie, RiLee, Quintin, Autumn, Dylan, Wyatt, Carter, Adelynn, Avery, Ty, Aliyah, Remingtyn, Briar and Brooklynn; and his siblings, Barbara Simpson (Tom), Debbie Quicke, Cindy Davis, Larry Shepherd (Karen) of Pattonsburg, MO and Terry Shepherd (Cheryl).
