She was predeceased by: her parents, Dudley Hughes and Ethel Hughes (Schleicher); her stepmother Nellie Hughes (Reed); her brother J. C. Hughes; her siblings-in-law, Orval and Betty Heldenbrand; her niece Angela Dawn Heldenbrand; and her great-niece Kelsey Heldenbrand.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Heldenbrand; her brothers, James Hughes and Harold; her sister-in-law Jane Heldenbrand; her nephews, Steve (Debra Heldenbrand), Brian (Amy Heldenbrand), Lonnie (Sharon Heldenbrand) and Stan (Pamela Heldenbrand); her niece Deanna; and her cousin Charles Siever. She is also survived by numerous great nieces, nephews and cousins.
