He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald D. Whaley and Myrtle A. Whaley (Hahn); and his siblings, Howard, Gerald Jr., David, Ecile Porter, Marguerite Beatrez and Esther Meade.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia B. Jansen; his daughters, Debbie Bernal and Karen Feighert (Don); his grandchildren, Shayna Hullinger (Tyler), Cameron, Amanda Torres of Liberty, MO and Luke Feighert (Jennifer) of Harrison, AR; his great grandchildren, Shayla Hullinger, Mareina Harris, Alex Harris, Ben Jones, Colton Simpson, Corbin Simpson and Easton Feighert; and his sister Dorothy Rich of Olathe, KS..
