He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl T. Bennett and C. Lenore Bennett (Bethel); his former wife Doris Lay; and his siblings, John and Doris Vaughan.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Ann Myers; his daughter Elaine Posegate (Geoff) of West Plains, Missouri; and his stepchildren, Paula Rooney (David) of Cameron, Lynette Goll of Hamilton, Gregg Richards (Mary Ann) of Fulton and Leslie Hodge (Steve) of Kansas City, Missouri.. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.
