Charles Karns Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Karns of Cameron, Missouri, born in Saint Joseph, Missouri, who passed away on September 6, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George S. Karns and Thelma Karns (Haley); and his brother George S. Karns III (Sam). He is survived by: his former wife Elsie Karns; his daughters, Heidi Sloan (Corey) and Emily Karns; his grandchildren, Kate Schiermeyer (Brad), Mitchell Lawhon and Ariel Lawhon; his great grandchildren, Claire and Chelsie Schiermeyer; and his siblings, Dave Karns (Debbie), Pete Karns (Stacey), Karen Williams, Sharon Anderson (Gary), Kathy Allnutt (Darryl) and Laurie Dunlap (Lou). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to the Ebenezer United Methodist Church and/or Missouri Veteran's Home Assistance League of Cameron.
