He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard North and Velva North; his siblings, Denzil North and Pat Morgan; his nephew Ron North; and his great grandchildren, Gabriel Joseph and Alexander Prentice.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Burns; his daughters, Deanna Martin (Tom) and Lisa Jackson (Jack); his grandchildren, Johnna Joseph (Micah), Luke Martin (Juniper Jackson), Debbie Jackson, Ashley Jackson, Merissa Jackson and Paul Jackson (Donna Riffle); and his great grandchildren, Mikayla Joseph, Matthew Joseph, Daniel Joseph, Chloe Prentice and Mateo Jackson.
