He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Allen Petri and Margaret Ruth Petri-Tennis; and his siblings, Johnnie Petri, Ronnie Petri, Peggy Atkinson, Rita Rausch, Fonda McClean, Ruth Hall and Sarah Johnson.

He is survived by: his wife Christine Petri; his daughter Heather Brown (Devin Brown); his grandchildren, Kylea Moore (Greg Moore), Logan Tyler (Selena Papaconstantinou) and Grace Brown; his great grandchildren, Hadley and Ember Moore; and his sister Pam Rausch (Mark Staton).
