He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Elwood Hawkins and Stella Jane Hawkins (Dunlap). He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hawkins of Bismarck; his sons, Mark of Bismarck and Monroe Hawkins of Bismarck; his brother Jeff "Mo" Hawkins of Bismarck; his brother-in-law Everett Barton of Salem; and his grandchildren, Lauren, Keely, Ethan and Phoenix. He is also survived by his family and friends.
