He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Riner and Raymond Riner. He is survived by: his wife Estella Ellis; his pet Buddy; his children, David Ellis of Texas, Raymond Ellis of Oklahoma, Jeneta Ellis of Buckner and Sarah Jones of Pleasant Hill; and his siblings, Daniel Ellis and Beverly Wilson of Independence. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and a large extended family.
