She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Larue and Mary Larue (Bulloc); her son Paul; and her husband Gerald Hickson. She is survived by: her children, Don (Rhonda Hickson), Dan (Karen Hickson) and Susan (Larry Graham). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the First Baptist Church Outreach Program.
