He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Richard Houser and Dorothy Jean Snyder; his birth father Carl Richard Houser; his adoptive father James Francis; his siblings, David Lemken, Jeffery Lemken and Kimberly; his brother-in-law Barrett Johnson; his grandson Jeremy Cooper; his sons-in-law, Leslie Cooper and Dennis Coxe; and his nephews, Michael Johnson and Little Jeff.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn K. Lemken; his daughters, Janice Cooper and Julie Carpenter; his siblings, Beverly Rheuport, Carolyn McCormack (Jimmy) and James L. Lemken; his mother-in-law Betty Leach; his grandchildren, Jerri Cooper, Carol Jo Johnson (Cody), Charles Carpenter III and Richard Carpenter (Heather); and his great grandchildren, Skyler, Joseph, Alexia, Sammie, Heaven, Makayla, Kylie, Ava, Olivia, Brendan, Kenton, Isaiah, Tory, Betty and Brayden.
