He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis George Sam Gardner and Sara Irene Gardner (Enloe); his wife Rosa Lee Head; and his siblings, Helen, Arlene, Bruce, Terrill and Harold.
He is survived by: his sons, Johnny Gardner of Kansas City and Doug Gardner (Vicky) of Brookfield; his grandchildren, Jordan Gardner, Kaitlin Small, Josh Allen, Seth Taylor, Candee and Kenneth Polson; and his great grandchild Tatum Gardner.
