With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joann D. King (Brookfield, Missouri), who passed away on October 28, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Leroy Gaston and Dorothy Lorene McCoy; her siblings, Carrie Johnson and Sonny Gaston; and her grandson Justin Tarpening.

She is survived by: her husband Dick King; her children, Erlinda Bloss (Dale), Brenda Asher (Donnie), Dana Tarpening (Robin), Rob King (Connie), Karen Tarpenning (Mark), Lori Elliott (Jeff) and Kelly King (Yulia); and her siblings-in-law, Keith Johnson of Brookfield, MO and Glenda Gaston of Mountain Home, AR. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; thirty two great grandchildren; and many other relatives.
