He is survived by: his wife Sarah MacDonald; his children, Peggy Blakenship (Dave) and Mark Botts (Amy); his grandchildren, Laura Vanderveld (Bastian), Julie Blankenship of Los Angeles, CA, Drew Blankenship of Ankeny, IA, Matthew Botts and Emily Botts; and his sister Ruth Long.
