He was predeceased by: his parents, Linus Unterreiner and Lucile Unterreiner; and his sibling Laverne Forsyth (Raymond). He is survived by: his wife Joan Unterreiner; his children, Kim Unterreiner (late Cheryl), Tony Unterreiner (Patti), Robert Unterreiner and Julie Portman; his grandchildren, Matthew Unterreiner, Marie Unterreiner, Evan Huss, Kathryn Portman and Jack Portman; and his siblings, Carol Buerck (Eugene), Connie Kohnen (Norm), Bev Blythe (Jim) and Harold Unterreiner (Velda).
He and Joan donated time and talents with St. Patrick's Center and food pantries at the former St. Sebastian Parish, Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish and in Ferguson.
