He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Bauer; his parents, Ralph E Bauer and Marie Bauer; his brother Paul Bauer; and his siblings-in-law, Veronica Bauer, Jack Lauth, Don Zimmer and Michael Bauer.
He is survived by: his children, Vicky Steffens (Brian), Jessica Voris (Ernest) and Patrick Bauer; his daughter-in-law Katie Conley; his grandchildren, Nicholas Bauer (Stephanie), Jeffrey Steffens (Courtney), Amanda Rumph (Kyle), Adam Bauer, Alexis Bauer, Elizabeth Cooper (Aaron), Brittany Kroll (Nick), Hunter Voris (Abby), Samantha Bauer, Danielle Bauer, Grace Bauer and Allie Bauer; his great grandchildren, Lily Bauer, Lyla Bauer, Jack Bauer, Ella Bauer, Juniper Steffens and Bennett Cooper; and his sisters, Rose Zimmer, Betty Lauth, Carol Heilman (Jack), Ruth Smith and Linda Garfield (Jim).
