He was predeceased by: his daughter Amanda; and his sibling Jerry Sampson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Sampson; his daughter Jennifer Sampson; his grandchildren, Katelynn Cody (Danny), Madelynn Rosales (Roberto), Matt Cody (Brooke), Tommy Edwards and Gracie Barry; his great grandchildren, Francisco Rosales, Benjamin Rosales and Nicolas Llamas; and his siblings, Peg Warnusz (Greg), Patti O'Connell (late Phil), Steve Sampson (Jayne) and Paul Sampson (Thalia).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Hands at Holy Spirit Church or to the Holy Spirit Athletic Association.
