She was predeceased by: her siblings, Miriam, Dorothy May, Ruth and Tom; and her grandsons, Jake and Cory Nuernberger (Cody).
She is survived by: her mother Estelle Hornung (Swederski); her husband George Nuernberger; her sons, Bob (Ellen), Dan, Ken (Pat) and John (Sherry Hartnett); her siblings, Evelyn Schueddig of Cedar Hill and Bill Hornung of St. Paul, MN.; and her grandchildren, Bobby Taylor (Michelle), Emily Schick (Robby), Christina Ruffino (Bob), Andy Hartnett (Mary), Jeff (Melissa), Keith (Marie), Alicia (Jason Ashurt), Kate (Brian Blair), Peter (Meredith Gugger), Sam (John Agusti) and Eric Nuernberger (Desi). She is also survived by her 20 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and her sons.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Sarah Community or the School Sisters of Notre Dame.
