He was predeceased by: his mother Jessie Aliene Thompson (Johnson); his sister Delores Faye Thompson; and his grandson Jon Thompson, III. He is survived by: his father Everett Boyd Thompson; his significant other Donna; his children, Yvette Thompson, Jonathan Thompson II and Erik Thompson; his sisters, Charella Lavene Reichardt and Kay Thompson; and his pet Max. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; nieces, nephews and extended family.
