It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan A. Effinger of Bridgeton, Missouri, who passed away on November 14, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan A. Effinger to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her son Greg; and her parents, Thomas Sheerin and Dorothy Sheerin. She is survived by: her husband Gil Effinger; her children, Thomas Effinger (Kathleen), Doug Effinger, John Effinger (Liane) and Amy Effinger; her grandchildren, Matt (MaryCate), Katie (Scott), Lauryn, Jason, Anna, Jennifer and Kristine (John); her great grandchildren, Noah, Arah, Owen, Hailey, Henry, Ian and Lucy; and her sister Patricia "Pat" Kelleher (Greg).

Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
