He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Hopkins, Sr. and LaVon LaGrone; his siblings, Donald Hopkins, Jr. and Patricia Hopson; and his parents-in-law, Cora Wilson and James Ishman.
He is survived by: his wife Tamara Hopkins; his children, Latesha Marie Hopkins, Dominic Lamar Hopkins, Kalyx E. Wilson, Jarvis Wilson, Chantal D. Casey (Elliott), Frederick L. Jackson and Chassidy A. Jackson; his siblings, Donece Lewis (Patrick), Darrell Hopkins (Charlotte), Gail James, Naomi Hopkins, Charles LaGrone (Anita) and Wilbur McDew (Demetrius); and his grandchildren, Maryae Booker, Surayyah Davs, Mariah Booker, Jardyn Walker, Kyngston Patrick, Adrien Jackson and Marshaun Booker. He is also survived by wife, children, and grandchildren.
