He was predeceased by: his father Skip Burch; his father-in-law Marvin Cohen; and his close friend Harlan Barteau. He is survived by: his spouse Janne; his children, Haley, Anna (Grant), Matilda and Zeze; his mother Donna Burch; and his siblings, Skip Burch (Adele), Betsy Clark (Steve), Tim Burch (Sally), Meg Lang (Randy), Amy Naumann (Jeff), Laurie Greenley (Steve) and Julie Scharfenberg (Randy).
