He was predeceased by: his parents, H. F. "Ham" and Regina Brungardt; and his siblings, H. James and Joyce Ann. He is survived by: his children, Brenda and Kurt; his significant other Marcie; his children, Brian Hedrick, Mike, Jennifer Brungardt and Heidi Brungardt; his grandchildren, Megan (Jacob Huckabey), Abby, Josh Smith, Matt, Alicia Brungardt, Luke, Jordan Brungardt, Sarah Brungardt and Rachel Brungardt; and his great grandchild Jackson William Smith.
