She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Childers and Francis Childers (Stone); and her siblings, Wayland "Bud" Childers, Joseph Childers and Joyce Hancock.
She is survived by: her children, Renee Bittner (Terry) of Springfield, Missouri, Darla Acosta of Clovis, California, Jim Ward (Jeni) of Burbank, Washington and Bryan Ward (Karen) of Roswell; her grandchildren, Erik, Joshua, Matthew, Jacob, Rachael and Shelbe; her great grandchildren, Beau and Aurora; and her siblings, Wanda Brown of Mariposa, California, Royce Childers and Anthony Childers. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to New Life Restoration Center at New Life Temple in Hollister, Missouri.
